Burushaski Language

Hunza is a multilingual region in the province of Gilgit Baltistan.Its local language is Burushaski however there are many languages spoken in Hunza valley like wakhi, Shina,domaaki.The majority of people speak Burushaski,because Burushaski is the major language of Hunzai,s.and this become the identity of Hunzai people over many years.so this also identifies and distinguishes their culture as compare to other regions of the world.
Preservation of Burushaski Language:
The Burushaski language is although preserve through many ways like poetry,making its own dictionary,and through other sorts of books but the interpretation of the Holy Qur,an by Ghulam uddin Ghulam Hunzai,is the best and admirable step towards its preservation.

ALTIT FORT OF HUNZA

The most ancient fort of Hunza territory ,situated in Altit Hunza.it is constructed when the King of Hunza married to the princess shah khatun.(The daughter of Baltistan king).At that very time, there was not a fort in Hunza and kings usually we call them thamuo were lived in a traditional house .The princess urged their father to construct a fort in Altit Hunza so that it enables her to live comfortably and peacefully in Hunza and she able to felt ecstasy of her home .rumination so that it reduces her sickness of her own father,s kingdom at Baltistan.This fort comprised on four traditional houses along with one tower and three rooms.it is build on a rock in order to its security point of view.Many visitors from all over the world visit to Altit Hunza for the sake of over viewing the magnificent and its splendid look.recently it is renovated by The Aga khan Culture Service for Pakistan.
